Karasuno, once dubbed "a powerhouse that has fallen, a raven who can't fly" reached the finals of the Spring Tournament after beating Aoba Jousai. To advance to the nationals, Karasuno must defeat Shiratorizawa Academy, a powerhouse. The biggest hurdle for Karasuno is Wakatoshi, Ushijima's opponent, who's the top player in Miyagi Prefecture and among the three best aces of Japan. The strongest teams will qualify for the national championship. Karasuno must use all the skills they have learned in the previous matches and training camps to win this game, as it is their last opportunity to qualify for the national tournament.
